APPENDIX B NOTICE OF DEVIATION Arkansas Power & Light Company Dockets: 50-313 Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2 50-368 Licenses: DPR-51 .

NPF-6 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on April 14-18 and .

May 19-23, 1986, a deviation from written commitments was identified. The deviation consisted of several examples of failure to provide supplemental information to the NRC as denoted in written correspondence. In accordance and Procedure for NRC Enforcement with the "10 Actions," General Statement CFR Part of Policy 2, Appendix C (1985), the deviation with several examples is listed below:

A. Arkansas Power & Light Company (AP&L) letter (1-010-4) dated January 7, 1980, committed to send the results of additional analyses of nonconformances of inaccessible systems found to be out of established tolerances no later than April 10, 1980.

j (Unit 1 only) l B. AP&Lletter(1-020-11) dated February 12, 1980, committed to send the results of analyses of support loads for accessible piping by April 10, 1980.

C. AP&L letters (1-129-6 and 2-129-6, item 5(d)) dated December 12, 1979, committed to send the results of field verification of anchor bolts installed prior to mid-1977 by March 24, 1980.

Arkansas Power & Light Company is hereby requested to submit to this office, within 30 days of the date of this letter transmitting this Notice, a written statement or explanation in reply, including for each deviation: (1) the 8608190393 860813 PDR ADOCK 05000313 G PDR

reason for the deviation if admitted, (2) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved, (3) the corrective steps'which will be taken to avoid further deviations, and (4) the date when full compliance will be achieved. Where good cause is shown, consideration will 6e given to extending the response time. #
