A. PURPOSE This procedure provides actions to restore the core to an adequate shutdown conditior.

B. ENTRY CONDITIg j This procedure is cctered from E0P 35 F-0.1, SUBCRITICALITY Critical Safety Function Status Tree, on eitiier YELLOW condition.

This procedure was written for Modes 1, 2, 3 and 4. Uting this procedure when not in these modes requires a step by step evaluation to determine if the required action is still applicable to current plant conditions.

1 Check Intermediate Range Flux

a. Flux < 10E-10 amps a. IF flux decreasing, THEN continue to monitor flux. WHEN flux < 10E-10 amps THEN do Steps Ib, and Ic.

IF flux NOT decreasing, THEN check intermediate range channels for undercompensation.

_If undercompensated, ThEN ma.. ally energize sourcq range, detectors. IF NOT undercompensated, THEN borate RCS until flux

< 10E-10 amps.
