FUNCTIONAL RECOVERY OF VITAL AUMLIARIES (AC AND DC POWER) 3.
OPERATOR ACTIONS Instructions Contingency Actions CAUTION Do not leave this procedure until satisfying Vital Auxiliary requirements.
Other safety function (s) may be pursued concurrently.
3.1 Determine, based on present 3.1 Continue with this procedure plant conditions, which success paths can be used to satisfy AC and DC power requirements.
Refer to Figure 4.1, Vital Auxiliaries, f
NOTES 1.
Step 3.2 pertains to Loss of DC.
Steps 3.3 through 2.5 pertain to Loss of AC 2.
This procedure can be entered at any step as a result of assessing probable success paths.

OC Power from 125VOC System l
CAUTIONS 1.
Attempting to re-energize Bus 201A or 2018 by closing 125VDC Load Center Tie Breakers 00104 and 00204 could result in breakers opening on the energized Bus.
2.
If the load Center Feed Breaker trips while attempting to re-energize the 125 VOC load center, do not attempt to I
re-energize again until the cause is determined and corrected or isolated.
l 3.
The diesel on the affected facility will start on loss of DC and f
operate at minimum speed en the mechanical governor.
There will be no diesel protection except for mechanical overspeed.
l 3.2 Restore power to at least 3.2 one mala DC bus by the following (Refer to Figure 4.2) a.
Open all breakers on a.
Continue with this on de-energized 6.9 and procedure 4.16 KV buses per OP 2343, Station Electrical (tocal) t b.
