MB. & MRS. ARNOLD GLEISSER 5005 South Barton Road Lyndhn=+, Ohio 44124 Helen F. Hoyt, Esquire Administrative Judge Atomic Safety and Licensing Board U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington D.C. 20555

Dear Judge Hoyt,

May 24,1986 This letter is intended to clear up any confusion generated by Mr. Jay Silberg's receht letters. Genevieve Cook is a V1'ce President of the SOS group and has been that since 1983. She is fully authorized to represent our group, and we are proud of her great knowledge about the problems of burying radioactive sludge in the Navarre Marsh. Over the years Ms. Cook has appeared cn radio, TV, written newspaper articles and appeared as a speaker on college and high school campuses. Our group plans to have expert testimony from people in the scientific and medical community at the hearing on radioactive sludge.

Sincerely, Arnold Gleisser Chairman SOS PS:Mr. Silberg's recent latter talked about intervenors living within a stone's throw of a nuclear racility. Who shall chrow the stone? If a person with the strength of Superman were to throw it, the distance would be quite far.
