A visit was made'to the proposed tiPPSS 1 & 4 site'on July 15, 1974, in.

conjunction with the Pobble Springs site visit. *Since this visit. preceded the environmental site visit (with the approval of the EPM), no

, f 'g environmental questions had been prepared for discussion with tha' applicant. *

The sito review was conducted in the company of Sharon Engstrom of tiPPSS and Dave Baker of Battelle-Northwest.(consultant to t.he applicant). During the tour of the sito, the relationship of proposed tiPPSS 1 & 4 to ifPPSS' #2 (undar construction) was noted, as well as the location of the future offluent dischargo line on the Columbia River. Nearby residences and.

farms were visited on the opposite side of the river.

It was noted through a conversation with an employee *of the farm containing the nearest cow that eight children (including a 4 day-old infant) consumed thu milk. from the

cow, h, visit was concluded at approximat 17 4:00pm.
