A visit was made'to the proposed tiPPSS 1 & 4 site'on July 15, 1974, in . ..

conjunction with the Pobble Springs site visit. *Since this visit. preceded ' '~. .

the environmental site visit (with the approval of the EPM), no

. , f 'g environmental questions had been prepared for discussion with tha' applicant. *

The sito review was conducted in the company of Sharon Engstrom of tiPPSS

• and Dave Baker of Battelle-Northwest .(consultant to t.he applicant). During '

the tour of the sito, the relationship of proposed tiPPSS 1 & 4 to ifPPSS' #2 ,

(undar construction) was noted, as well as the location of the future offluent dischargo line on the Columbia River. Nearby residences and. .*:,

farms were visited on the opposite side of the river. It was noted through .

a conversation with an employee *of the farm containing the nearest cow that ,

eight children (including a 4 day-old infant) consumed thu milk. from the ".,

cow, h , visit was concluded at approximat 17 4:00pm.
