SUBJECT:
NRC MANAGEMENT SITE VISIT TO WNP-2 As part of the NRC Nanagement Review Team, I visited the WNP-2 site i.n Richland, Washington on December 6,1983 morning and met with the WPPSS management in the afternoon.
During the general tour of the plant. I particularly looked in the areas of cable and cable tray separation, installation of barriers between redundant cable systems, fire protection and cable spreading room.
I also visited the control room and the emergency offsite facilities.
It is my observation that the WPPSS management morale was high, attitude to be good and the plant looked clean. My conclusion is that the plant is ready for fuel loading, pending completion of few minor preoperational tests.
