, 9 Docket flos.: 50-397 Licensing Stage: Operating License Review Status: SSER In response to issues identified by the staff at the February 1922 meeting with the applicant at MRC headquarters, Washinqton Public Power and Supply System undertook several field investinaisons, including (a) trenching of several linear features on the alluvial '

fan of Rattlesnake tit, identified by the staff on a previous visit to the area; (b) ficld study of postulated youno faults in Uenas and Moxee Valleys within the Cle-Elun-Wallula (CLEW) Zone of Deformation, (c) field, geophysical and drill core studies of the Cold Creek lineament, the cores of which were obtained from other '

organizations for unrelated studies; and (d) various studies and techniques to define, characterize and date the Southeast an ticline ,

fault, including drill cores. The staff, our consultants and SCDS .

consultants visited the site vicinity with the applicant's staff and consultants on april 12-14, 1982, inclusive, during which time we examined the trenches and cores, visited several field localities, and had two conference ecom meetings on the findings.

A list of attendees, most of whom were technical people is attached.
