F05AVEX-91 SCENARIO TRANSMITTAL Gentlemen:

This letter transmits the detailed scenario for the 1991 Fort St.

Vrain (FSV) exercise of the Defueling Emergency Response Plan (DERP).

The exercise is entitled FOSAVEX-91, and is designed to test major elements of the DERP as well as meet the requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix E.

FOSAVEX-91 is scheduled for the November time frame. Details on the -

date and time are included in the enclosed scenario. State and local agencies will not participate in FOSAVEX-91 due to the decreased response requirement of the Plan. Should you have any questions regarding this material, please contact Mr. M.H. Holmes at (303) 480-6960.
