Dear Mr. Collins:
On March 25, 1983 a hydraulic transient that occurred during Hot Functional testing was reported to the NRC as PRD 110. This hydraulic transient caused the inlet steam supply piping to the emergency feedwater pump turbine to move and damage several supports associated with this piping. Evaluation of the significance of this condition has been completed and it has been deter-mined to be not reportable.
The hydraulic transient that occurred has been attributed to improper opera-tion of the system during testing coupled with the fact that the required heat tracing of these lines was not completed at the time of testing.
