- 2. Waterford 3 Potentially Reportable Event PRE 85-054 dated February 21, 1985 The reference 1 letter provided the Final Report on SCD-93. Subsequent to that submittal Waterford 3 experienced a potentially reportable event (reference 2) which was similar to the SCD-93 problem, i.e., containment isolation valve CVC-103 failed to close after plant cooldown. Please be advised that we are investigating this PRE and we will apprise you of our findings and provide details on the valve failure when the information is obtained.
