Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit No. 2 Inservice Testing Program In accordance with the requirements set forth in 10CFR50, Section 50.55a(g) and agreements reached in the Inservice Testing Program meeting held October 7,1981 with representatives of the NRC, Alabama Power Company hereby submits seven (7) copies of Revision 1 to the document entitled " Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit No. 2 Inservice Testing Program".

In reference to the agreements reached on October 7, 1981, two changes should be noted. RHR valve Q2E11V044 was to have been reclassified as ASME Section XI category "A" due to Technical Specification requirements for leak testing of this valve. As a result of a recent Technical Specification amendment, this valve is no longer required to be leak tested, and therefore will remain in category "B". In addition, service water check valves Q2P16V206A, B, C and D have not been included in the program because they do not perform a safety related function.

It is hereby requested that the subject program, as revised, be approved and the ASME Section XI Code Relief requested be granted pursuant to Section 50.55a(g)(6)(i) of 10CFR50.
