Enclosed is Revision 4 of Alabama Power Company's r7sponse to IE Bulletin 79-01B. This revision contains the follown .

1. Enclosure 1, which is a discussion of the items changed in this revision.
2. Enclosure 2, which is a list of cold shutdown equipment located outside harsh environments and exposed to post-accident radiation emanating from containment sump recirculated fluids. Qualification information, to the extent it is available, is also provided in this enclosure.
3. Enclosure 3, which includes revised component evaluation work sheets for all items changed as outlined in Enclosure 1.

Enclosures 2 and 3 cor. n instructions for inserting the new and revised pages into the Alabama Power Company IE Bulletin 79-01B book.

Please note that the information in Enclosure 2 concerning nuclear steam supply equipment includes data which is proprietary to Westinghouse.

Therefore, enclosed in Enclosure 2 is a signed affidavit from Westinghouse requesting that this infonnation be withheld from public disclosure. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in Paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the 8.108230 % \
