Safety Analysis The inservice inspection of the suction and relief valves of "B" i charging pump was in progress on September 25, 1980. The discnarge relief valve was being rebuilt at this time.

At approximately 1030 A.M. , "A" charging pump packing cooling water pump motor failed. The loss of the packing cooling water puma resulted in "A" charging pump being unavailable for continuous service. "A" charging pump was removed from service for repair and the 24 hour2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> time limit of Technical Specificatien 2.2 was implemented.

The packing cooling pump motor was replaced and "A" charging pumo returned to service at 1604 the same day.

The repairs were accomplished within the time limits provided in Technical Specification 2.2.
