CPPR-148; CPPR-149 I Gentlemen: IE Bulletin No. 80-09 On June 18, 1980, we responded to the referenced IE Bulletin regarding Hydramotor Actuator Deficiencies. Information received subsequent to our response indicates that it should be supplemented with the following additional information.

Litton Industrial Products, Inc. (Contramatics Division) and Fisher Controls Co., Inc. are also supplying TTT General Controls Model NH-90 Series Hydramotor Actuators.

IIT General Controls has confirmed that the actuators being supplied by Litton Industrial Products, Inc. utilize No. 2 springs and, therefore, have no possibility of being fabricated from incorrect material.

ITT General Controls has also confirmed that the actuators being supplied by Fisher Controls have spring forces below the reduced rating for the No. 1 springs and, therefore, are not undersized for their intended use.

Very truly yours,
