Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Docket No. $0-440 P ur Dr. Murley The Board of Directors of Centerior Energy Corporation on April 24, 1990, adopted a reorganization plan for the Corporation and its service and operating company subsidiaries. Except for changing the

titles of The Toledo Edison Company Vice President, Nuclear (to Centerior Service Company Vice President-Nuclear-Davis-Besse) and The

' Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company Vice President-Nuclear Group -

(to Centerior Service Company Vice President-Nuclear-Perry), the reorganization vill not affect the site organization of either Perry or Davis-Besse at this time.

Under the Centerior reorganization. an existing subsidiary --

centerior Service Company -- vill assuma management responsibility for nuclear activities at both the Perry and Davis-Besse sites. Both the Perry and Davis-Besse organizations will report through their l respective Vice President to the Executive Vice President-Power Generation of Centerior Service' Company, who in turn vill report to Centerior Service Company's President and Chief Operating Officer and ultimately to Centerior Service Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. The Centerior Energy's Board of Directors has reelected Richard Hiller as Chairman /CEO and Robert Farling as President / COO of the Servico Company. Hurray Edelman has been elected Executive Vice President-Power Generation. Michael Lyster and Donald Shelton have

  • been elected Vice President-Nuclear-Perry and Vice President-Nuclear- '

l Davis-Besse, respectively. The officers vill take their new positions effective April 30, 1990.

l All plant personnel at Perry and Davis-Besse vill remain employees of Cleveland Electric and Toledo Edison, respectively and will report to the respective Vice Presidents-Nuclear, who will become employees of Centerior Service Company. The reorganization vill make no changes in the technical or financial qualifications for either Perry or Davis.

Besse. The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and The Toledo Edison Company have been and continue to be fully owned subsidiaries of the Centerior Energy Corporation.
