Re: Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 Generic Letter 88-03 Generic Letter 88-03, Resolution of Generic Safety Issue 93, Steam Binding of Auxiliary Feedwater Pumps," issued by the NRC on February 1, 1985, informed licensees of the resolution of Generic Safety Issue 93, and requested that licensees continue to implement as a minimum, the monitoring and c'orrective procedures previously identified for interim resolution of this issue in IE Bulletin 85-01, "Steam Binding of Auxiliary Feedwater Pumps," dated October 29, 1985.

The procedural controls discussed in our response to IE Bulletin 85-01 (FPL letter L-86-77 dated February 28, 1986) remain in place. To ensure the controls are maintained, they will be identified in plant procedures as NRC commitments.

A list of the procedures which include the controls is attached.
