, Docket Nos. 50-250 8 50-251 Containment Pur e This letter is to inform you that Florida Power & Light Company has completed modifications to the Turkey Point Units 3 & 4 containment purge valves. The modifications restrict valve opening to 50 degrees maximum, on an interim basis, in accordance with position 2.a of your October 23, 1979 letter.

He have reviewed position 1 of your October 23 letter and have deter-mined that Turkey Point is continuing to minimize purging to as low as reasonably achievable, as previously discussed in our letters dated February 1, 1979 (L-79-31) and June 8, 1979 (L-79-158).

Interim position 2.b has been addressed in our letters of January 8, 1979 (L-79-4) and December 13, 1979 (L-79-346). Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions in this matter.
