Technical Support Center (TSC)

The new TSC is located outside and between the Unit 1 Protected Area and the Units 2 & 3 Protected Area Basement of the new Nuclear Operations Building

~7,000 square feet of working space, including Command Area, Engineering Area, NRC Area, Executive Video Conference Room, two support areas, Back-up Operational Support Center Additional square footage provided for bathrooms, break rooms, storage, etc.

Emergency Planning Zone Expand the Emergency Planning Zone Lexington County, South Carolina near Chapin, SC SCE&G completed a new Evacuation Time Estimates Report for the expansion in April 2012 SCE&G completed a new Alert and Notification System (ANS)

Design Report for the expansion in January 2014 which identified two additional Early Warning Sirens sites for Lexington County 12

Emergency Planning Zone FEMA approved the Lexington County EPZ Expansion in August 2013 with two contingencies:

NRC approval of Unit 1 Emergency Plan Offsite response organizations update plan FEMA approved the ANS Report in July 2014 13
