Dear Mr. Jones:

On April 17, 2013, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff met representatives from South Carolina Electric and Gas and members of the public in Blair, South Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the annual assessment of Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Units 2 and 3 with the public for the period of January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2012.

A public meeting notice was issued on March 25, 2013, and was posted on the NRCs external (public) web page (ML13084A204). The notice included the meeting agenda, which was also available as a handout at the meeting. Attached is a list of attendees and the slides presented during the meeting.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from ADAMS.
