50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - UNIT 1, 2 and 3 - FIRE PROTECTION PROGRAM - POST-FIRE OPERATOR MANUAL ACTIONS The purpose of this letter is to confirm that TVA has completed the commitments provided in Reference 1 and provide an additional commitment associated with References 2 and 3.

TVA and NRC discussed the BFN Fire Protection program at a meeting on April 5, 2006. As a result of that meeting, TVA provided a summary of commitments in Enclosure 1 of Reference 1. The commitments are complete. Closure packages for each commitment are available for review at the site.

In References 2 and 3, TVA stated that it would follow the Post-Fire Safe Shutdown Circuit Analysis Spurious Actuations issue and work with the industry and NRC towards a resolution. TVA acknowledges this as an explicit commitment.
