Results Of the two areas inspected, no violations or deviations were identified.

Exit Interview The inspection scope and findings were summarized on April 9, 1982, with those persons indicated in paragraph 1 above. The licensee had no questions concerning this report and acknowledged the inspection findings.

Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings a.
(Closed) Violation 50-416/81-57-01 stated that the licensee was using non-safety related maintenance work orders (MWO) to perform safety related work.
The licensee QA closed out CAR 434 after the plant staff corrected the identified problems. This item is closed.
b.
(Closed) Unresolved Item 50-416/82-19-02 concerning the question of three cold and two hot starts for the HPCS diesel generator preopera-tional prototype test. The licensee performed the three cold and two hot starts during a subsequent retest. This item is closed.

Unresolved Items Unresolved items were not identified during this inspection.
5.
IE Bulletin 80-24 The inspector reviewed the licensee response of March 31, 1982, to IE Bulletin 80-24, " Prevention of Damage Due to Water Leakage Inside Contain-ment" The responses covering items 2.c., 2.e., 2.f., and 3 are not accept-able. The items are addressed as if Grand Gulf will not be an operating r

plant in the near-term, when in fact the plant is approaching initial fuel load and startup testing.
These items were discussed with Corporate Licensing the week of April 6-9, 1982, and the inspector was assured the items addressed above would be corrected and addressed in a supplemental r(sponse to IE Bulletin 80-24 6.
Preoperational Test Results Evaluation The test results and licensee review of test results were evaluated for the following preoperational tests:
