Areas Inspected:
Included a preoperational review of the adequacy of implementing procedures; security force training and qualification; and security equipment installation to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 73.55 and the approved physical security plan.
The inspect.on involved 36 inspector hours on site by two NRC inspectors.
Eight inspection hours were accomplished during offshift periods.
Results:
The licensee's physical protection program was found to be adequate and capable of meeting applicable NRC regulations.
The licensee is required to implement Section 6.P.1 of the approved physical security plan prior to fuel load.
