Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings a.

(0 pen) Unresolved item 50-416/81-14-02 states that the low pressure core spray suction valve (1E21F012) from the suppression pool was wired in accordance with the schematic E-1182-01, but not in accordance with the associated connection diagram (E-1382).

If the valve had been wired per the connection diagram, it would malfunction.

Field report FR-E21-0011 was issued on May 13, 1981, requesting revision of the-connection diagram, and field reports FR-E21-0005 and FR-E21-0006 were issued on March 9, 1981, for similar circumstances.

The licensee issued Correction Action Requests (CARS) 322 and 324 as a result of further investigation of the conditions associated with the unresolved item. The inspector was unable to verify if the field reports had been closed and if the connection drawings had been revised.

This item remains open pending further review by the inspector when - the licensee's activity is completed.

Review of Open Items a.

(Closed) Open item 50-416/81-24-02 states that Drawing number E-1041, Revision 0, was on the current controlled drawing racks but the drawing-distribution center had a later revision, Revision 1, which stated that Drawing E-1041 had been superceded by Drawing E-0011. At the time of inspection 416/81-24, the effect of the drawing change on preop test 1L21PT01 could not be determined. The licensee performed an evaluation and in a memo dated October 2,1981, stated that it had been determined that the drawing which replaced E-1041 was E-0011 in which the alarm logic for preop test 1L21PT01 was shown. All the alarm logics were made into schematics, and for test 1L21PT01, they were E-1117 and E-1118, which were-listed and tested in the IL21PT01 preop test.

b.

(0 pen) Open items LII 50-416/81-30-02 and 03 were not ready to be closed as of January 15, 1982, and remains open pending further action by the licensee, c.
