SUMMARY Inspection on January 26-29, 1982 Areas Inspected This routine, announced inspection involved 48 inspector-hours on site in the areas of instrumentation work, work activities and QC records; licensee identi-fied items, inspector followup items and an audit on a portion of the electrical area in the NRC construction program.
Results Of the areas inspected, no violations or deviations were identified.

The above personnel were not in any way affiliated with the inspection.
They were given tours by Mississippi Power and Light Company j
(MP&L) personnel so they could become familiar with installation practices l
of safety related electrical equipment.

Inspector Followup Items (Closed) 416/81-39-01, "Name Plates for Identification of Safety Related Instrumentation". Name plates for Fuel Handling Area Ventilation Exhaust Radiation Sensore, ID17RE-N012A, B, C, & D, have been installed. An FSAR Change Notice 1595 was issued to be used for non-divisional instruments and to avoid duplication of tagging.
This C/N has been approved by MP&L and will be incorporated in the FSAR as part of Amendment 53.

Instrumentation (Components and Systems II) - Observation of Work and Work Activities (Unit 1)
The inspector selected radiation monitoring instrument Q1D17RE-N013A for an examination. The ex*mination was to assure that FSAR and QAM were complied with in the areas o: identification, location, protection and cleanliness, and the generation of inspection records.
The instrument calibration was covered by Surveillance Procedure 06-1C-1D17-R-0197 Rev. O and was scheduled for performance in the near f uture.
Within the areas examined there were no violations or deviations.
8.
Instrumentation (Components and Systems II) - Review of Quality Records (Unit 1)
The inspector selected radiation monitoring instrument Q1017RE N013A for a record review.
The records of this instrument were examined to assure that the requirements of the SAR and QAM were complied with in the areas of receipt inspection, acceptance, material certification, storage handling, identification, and installation inspection.
The instrument had not been calibrated but it was scheduled to be calibrated in the near future by Surveillance Procedure 06-1C-1017-R-0197 Rev. O.
Within the areas examined, no violations or deviations were identified.

Audits (Unit 1)

An audit was performed on part of the electrical area of the NRC construc-tion inspection program.
This audit was to insure that items looked at during the construction phase and documented in NRC Region II reports meet the program's criteria.
Within the areas examined, no items of deviations were identified.
