(0 pen) Unresolved item 50-416/81-14-02 states that the low pressure
,
core spray suction valve (1E21F012) from the suppression pool was wired in accordance with the schematic E-1182-01, but not in accordance with the associated connection diagram (E-1382).
If the valve had been wired per the connection diagram, it would malfunction. Field report FR-E21-0011 was issued on May 13, 1981, requesting revision of the connection diagram, and field reports FR-E21-005 and FR-E21-006 were issued on March 9, 1981, for similar circumstances.
The licensee issued Correction Action Requests (CARS) 322 and 324 as a result of further investigation of the conditions associated with the unresolved item. The inspector was unable to verify if the field reports had been closed and if the connection drawings had been revised. This item remains open pending further review by the inspector when the licen-see's activity is completed.

The inspector reviewed maintenance work orders MWO E20635 Division I, standby emergency diesel, and, MWO 820245 Division II, standby emergency diesel, and verified retest forms 5.19 were attached and completed for

potential retest of the diesel preoperational test.
The forms and their

use are two examples of controlling the retest function when a preopera-

tional test is interrupted due to maintenance per the revised startup manual. The inspector had no concerns with the MWO's reviewed and retest forms.
