This report is provided in accordance with 10 CFR 50 73(a)(2)(ii)(B),"Any event or condition that resulted in the condition of the nuclear plant, includir;its principal safety barriers, being seriously degraded; or that resulted in tre nuclear power plant being in a condition that was outside the design hasis of the plant." This report describes the discovery that the Unit I turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater pump (TDAFWP) low suction pressure trip time delay relay was discovered to not have a complete solder joint. This manufacturing deficiency was previously reported to the Commission via a 10 CFR 21 notification submitted by the vendor, Thomas & Betts, on s January 12,1998, if you require additional information, please contact us.
