. February 9, 1996 U.S. Nuclear Reg.latory Commission Attention: Shirley Jackson We are concerned parents and grandparents, and are wondering what sort of future our children will have if the on-going labor dispute results in Local 15 members walking off the job in protest that Commonwealth Edison wants to REPLACE its skilled labor with unskilled labor at a fraction of the cost.

Does the regulatory commission want people with no recent practical or on-the-job experience to run and maintain Com Ed Plants? We are sure the commission does not want another Chernobyl_ incident where it was discovered that persons who should have NEVER been at the controls and making decisions were allowed to do so!!

Please work ith Commonwealth Edison to sit down with their skilled labor and negotiate a contract. in good faith. We need our skilled labor to keep Com Ed Nuclear Plants running safely giving our children and grandchildren a safe future!!
