Gerard L. Hofman Statement of Professional Qualifications I received ny PhD in Metallurgy from the University of Florida in 1971 where I . specialized -in Diffusion Research under the direction of Prof. A. G.
Guy.
Currently I am employed et Argonne National Laboratory primarily working on the behavior of LMFBR fuel operating with failed cladding, and on the development of Low Enriched Fuel for Research and Test Reactors.
During my tenure at ANL I have participated in the development of metal fuel, and the research in irradiation damage to cladding materials and structural reactor components. I have authored or coauthored over 30 articles in these areas. l My previous places of employment include the Reactor. Centrum Nedericnd, Petten,The Netherlands and Centre d' Etudes Nuc14aires, Cadarache, France.
