Centlement The following summarizes fire protection Limiting conditions for Operation (LCO)

Al-92-F0613 and Al-92-F0683, that were initiated to support major outage projects being performed in the Unit 1 Reactor Buildings iLCO) Al-92-F0613 At 2215 on September 4,1992, the Unit 1 Reactor Building 20' elevation Secondary Containment airlock doors were both opened (including fire door 203). Opening these doors increased ventilation air flow into the building and supported the increased traffic of a Unit outage. A fire watch was stationed and remained in ,

place until the restoration of the fire barrier. The door was expected to be open longer than the 7 days . specified by rochnical Specification LCO, and required this Special Report. The fire barrier door was restored on September 19, 1992, at 1015.

(LCO) Al-92-F0683 At 1G30 on September 21, 1992, it was again necessary to open the Unit 1 Reactor Building 20' elevation Secondary containment airlock doors to support the Unit outage. A fire watch was stationed and remains in place pending restoration of the fire barrier. The door was expected to be open longer than the 7 days specified by Technical Specification LCO, and required this Special Report. The LCO for the fire barrier door is to remain active untti it is decided the open door will no longer be needed to support the continuing Unit outage.
