During the Unit 21988 refueling / maintenance outage, the unit Reactor Building fire detection system mone 14 instrumentation was declared inoperable at 1630 hours0.0189 days <br />0.453 hours <br />0.0027 weeks <br />6.20215e-4 months <br /> on January 19, 1988, due to erroneous fire alarms (approximately 5 within the previous 12 hour1.388889e-4 days <br />0.00333 hours <br />1.984127e-5 weeks <br />4.566e-6 months <br /> period). This mne monitors the 117-foot ,

elevation of the building. A limiting condition for operation (LCO) and a I Vork Request / Job Order (W1/J0) were initiated to investigate and resolve any t problem (s) to which the sxbject fire alarms could be attributed. Following an investigation, which failed to reveal the cause(s) of the fire alarms, the fire detectors were determined to be operatiag properly and, at 0930 hours0.0108 days <br />0.258 hours <br />0.00154 weeks <br />3.53865e-4 months <br /> on May 19, 1988, the involved LCO was cancelled and the zone 14 instrumentation was returned to service. ,
