Gentlemen:

At 0000 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br /> (EST) on January 13, 1992, a fourteen day Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) was initiated due to an inoperable fire detectors in Zone 14 located in the Unit 2 Reactor Building,117' elevation. Appropriately stationed fire watches were established at that time. A work order was initiated to repair the detector. The fourteen day LCO was exceeded on January 27, 1992 at 0000 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br />. The detectors had not bee: .* turned to service prior to the expiration of the LCO due to scheduling coni i:.nts and a lack of replacement detectors.

Replacement detectors were subsequently obtained and installed. The LCO was kej cancelled on January 30, 1992 at 0530 hours0.00613 days <br />0.147 hours <br />8.763227e-4 weeks <br />2.01665e-4 months <br />.
