Gentlemen Units 1 and 2 are in Cold shutdown to support the Unit outages that started on April 21,1992. The following summarizes fire protection Limiting conditions for r Operation (LCO) A2-92-F0830, A2-92-F0831, A2-92-F0858, A2-92-F0877, and A2 ! F0910:

At 1100 on October 31, 1992, an Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Building 23' elevation fire barrier doors (108 and 120), between the cells for EDG #2 and #3, were declared inoperable. The doors did not completely auto close af ter a normal pass-through [ Work Request / Job Orders (WRJO).92-BDKG1 and 92-BDKHl). A fire watch was already on station prior to the discovery of the inoperable fire barrier doors and will remain in place until the fire doors are restored. The fire doors have remained inoperable longer than the seven days specified by the Technical Specification LCO and this Special Report is required. The repairs have been delayed due to the unavailability of replacement doors. The delivery of replacement fire doors will allow restoration prior to the Startup of either Unit.

(LCO) A2-92-F0858 and A2-92-F0910 l At 1230 on November 11, 1992, the Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Building 23' elevation fire barrier for the South stairwell to the basement was declared 4 inoperable to support the addition of a fire / tornado damper by Plant Modification (PM)92-069. At 1000 on November 28, 1992, the EDG Building 23' elevation fire 2 barrier for the North stairwell to the basement was also declared inoperable to support the addition of a fire / tornado damper by PM 92-069. Prior to the fire barriers being made inoperable a fire watch was on utation and will remain in place until the barriers are restored. The fire barriers have remained inoperable longer than the seven days specified by the Technics 1 Specification LCO requiring this Special Report. The barriers will be restored prior to the Startup of either Unit.

(LCO) A2-92-F0877 At 1530 on November 17, 1992, an Emergenc/ Diesel Generator (EDG) Building 23' elevation fire barrier door (107), between the cells for EDG #3 and #4, was declared inoperable. The door did not consistently latch.after a normal pass-through (WR/JO 92-BEBA1). A fire watch was already on station prior to the discovery of the inoperable fire barrier door and will remain in place until the fire barrier is restored. The fire door has remained inoperable longer than the seven days specified by the Technical Specification LCO and this Special Report is required. The repairs have been delayed due to the . unavailability of a replacement door. The delivery of replacement' fire doors will allow restoration prior to the Startup of either Unit.
