We have received copies of the following reports which were filed with the Office of Huclear Reactor Regulation (0nRR) for review:

1. WCAP-105SS entitled " Technical Basis for Eliminating Large Primary Loop Pipe Rupture as Structural Design Basis for McGuire Units 1 and 2."

2. Supplement 1 to Revision 1 of WCAP-8692(hP) entitled " Request for Reduction in Westinghouse Fuel Assoably Burnup Limit for Calculation of Itaximum Rod Bew Penalties fran 33,000 MWD /MTU to 24,000 idD/MTU,"

which was transmitted by letter dated Deccaber 23, 1985.

3. Addendum 1 to WCAP-10444 entitled " Reference Core Report Vantage 5 Fuel Assembly." which was transmitted by letter dated December 23, 1985.

Under separate cover, we received Check No. 50718 dated November 19, 1985, in the amount of $150 in payment of an application fee for Item 1 above.

Tac OMRR staff has infomed us that Iten I will be reviewed as a plant-specific report applicable to the McGuire Station only in support of an exemption request dated August 30, 1985 filed by the Dula Power Company.

Therefore, a refund or credit of the $150 application fee paid is due your Corporation. However, fees pursuant to the June 20, 1984 revision to 10 CFR 170 were not received for Items 2 and 3. Under the provisions of 10 CFR 170.21.J. requests for review of topical reports and revisions or amendments to accepted reports are to be accompanied by an application fee of $150.

Therefore, a total of $300 is due for Items 2 and 3 above. Rather than refund the $150 to your Corporation for Item 1 above, we are applying it to Itca 2. In summary, your Corporation is requested to remit $150 to this office for Itca 3. Your Corporation will be billed at six-month intervals for actual costs for Items 2 and 3 up to $20,000 for each.
