RFP No. RS-SEC-86-201, " Stenographic Reporting Services' for NRC Commission Meetings" This is to advise you that based on a comprehensive review and analysis of all proposals received under the above solicitation, your proposal has been determined to be within the competitive. range.

In accordance with Mrs. Kathryn Davis' telephone conversation with you on November 7,1985, negotiations / discussions are scheduled to be held with those offerors in the competitive range. Your scheduled date and time is Monday, November 18,1985 at 9:30 a.m. As discussed, these negotiations will be held at 1717 H Street, N.W., Room 1167. Attached is a list of proposed questions and/or areas of your proposal in which additional-information is required.

Each organization will be given the opportunity to revise or change l any elements of its proposal based upon negotiations.

l As requested in our letter of November 7,1983, Tayloe Associates has been furnishing us with the original transcript of all closed Corraission meetings. We have had trouble running these originals on our

, Xeroxing equipment and it has come to our attention that the transcripts I are typed on 16-lb. bond instead of the 20-lb. bond called for in the l contract. Attached hereto is a sample of the . paper Tayloe has been using and a sample of 20-lb. bond of the same type.

In future, please upgrade the quality of paper to comply with the terms of the contract (see p. 21).
