Dear Ms. Riley:

Attached hereto are pages of the transcript of the Commission meeting entitled, " Briefing on Status of Midland Plant" held on Wednesday, June 15,  ;

1983, on which we made corrections. It was observed that the court repor- 1 ter did not appear to be using her face mask continuously during the meeting. As a consequence, our staff compared the transcript to the tape recordings. The reporter is plugged into the same sound system we use to make the tape recording and, therefore, should be able to hear with the same level of quality as on our tapes. The results of the review are ]

j marked on the enclosed pages from the transcript; you will note quite a few  ;

changes.

I would also note that, on page one, S. Chilk was at the table and not j J. Hoyle, as indicated. This correction has been made on the original and so we do not need a replacement page. In fact, we do not require any replacement pages.

Staff of the Office of the Secretary make complete reviews of selected transcripts and have done so for several years. We will continue to
