Letter Smith /Riley dated June 1,1983 This is in response to Ms. Riley's June 20, 1983 letter which requested that:

(a) NRC reconsider its position regarding changes to the delivery requirements under the subject contract. and (b) Tayloe Associates be provided the opportunity to suet with Chief Judge Cotter of Judge Lazo to discuss these proposed changes.

In view of the contractual nature of these proposed changes, the NRC has determined that a meeting with Judge Cotter or Judge La:o would be 4 inappropriate. As always, technical and contractual. matters should be addressed to the attention of the Project Officer and Contracting  ;

Officer, respectively.

While the delivery requirements stated in the contract remain firu, NRC has and will continue to consider any proposed changes.to the contract on a case-by e se basis. Therefore, should you wish to further pursue the changes alluded to by Ms. Riley, please submit your proposed revision '

to the delivery schedule, in writing, including appropriate consideration to be provided the Government for any such changes.
