REVIEW 0F INTERFACE BETWEEN GENERAL ELECTRIC AND SOUTHERN NUCLEAR OPERATING COMPANY CONCERNING FUEL DESIGN INFORMATION On November 26. 1997, the subject inspection, scheduled for the week of December 15, 1997, was discussed with men,bers of your staff. As a result of that discussion, we are providing the following additional information concerning inspection team composition and inspection scon. The inspection team will consist of Mr. Curtis Rapp from Region II: Mr, Ed Kendrick, Mr.

Anthony Ulses, and Mr. Geoffrey Golub from Nuclear Reactor Regulation -

Reactor Systems Branch; and two staff contractors. Mr. Raop will be the Team Leader for this inspection.

Details about the inspection scope are provided below. For each ins)ection area, please identify the responsible individual that will be availa)le to assist the-inspection team. This information can be provided to Mr. Rapp at (404)S62-4674 or via E-mail at cwr1@nrc. gov. The inspection areas are as follows:

• Correspondence.(files) between SNOC and GE regarding RWE/RBM analyses for Unit 1 Cycles-16 & 17 and Unit-2 Cycles =13 &.14.

Other cycles may-also be reviewed. as necessary.
