_ Docket No. 50-320 OLA, ASLBP No. 87-554-OLA

Dear Administrative Judges:

In preparino its response to the Licensee's motions for sunwary disposition filed on May 9 and 16, 1988, the NRC staff has determined that the most effi-cient form of response would be one consolidated response to all four motions.

Since the response to the three motions filed on May 16th is not due until Wednesday, June 22, 1988, the Staff proposes to file its consolidated response on or before that date. If the Staff were to file a separate response to the May 9th motion, that would be due on June 20th. I have discussed this matter with counsel for the Licensee and with the representative of SVA/TMIA and neither has an objection to this minor modification to the current schedule.

SVA/TMIA has asked the Staff to advise the Board that it also intends to availI itself of this schedule adjustment and will file its response by June 22nd.

will expedite delivery of this letter to the Board and will call thereafter to l

determine that this schedule adjustment is acceptable to the Board, i

Siricerely,
