information

1. Verification of a person, last name Rudy, employed at Three Mile Island nuclear facility, Unit 2, on or about March 28, 1979

2. Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory studies on sabotage at the Three Mile Island facility submitted to NRC

3. Incident reports of following incidents:

a. Auxilliary feedwater valve found closed at TMI, Unit 1, March 27, 1979 b.Auxilliary feedwater valve found closed at TMI, Unit 2, l around February 6, 1979 l

c.Auxilliary feedwater valve found closed at TMI, Unit 2, around February 10, 1979

d. Any and all internal security problems involving the unauthori::ed c1osing of the auxi11iary feedwater valves for Unit 1 and 2 between January, 1979 and April, 1979

5. Any and all documents relative to investigations of sabotage into the March 28, 1979 reactor incident at TMI Unit 2

6. Any and all documents relative to a FBI report on April 2, 1979, about sabotage attempts or threats i

7. Any and all documents relative to the notification of NRC by FBI at 10:45 pm March 31, 1979 of reported attempt to sabotage TMI during-the night of 3/31/79

8. Any and all files relative to the notification of Med.

Ed. security on April 9, 1979 by Pennsylvania State Police that woman heard three individuals talking about " ... finishing the job at the island..."

9. Any and all documents relative to any 1979 security investigation into the activities of a religious cult called the Neo-American Church or any of its members pertaining to threats of sabotage at TMI.

If there are any fees for searching for or copying the records, please inform me of individual costs before you fill the request.

I am requesting this information relative to a 16-month media investigation into the cause of the incident at TMI, Unit 2, March 28, 1979.

As you know, the act permits you to reduce or waive fees when the release of information is considered as "primarily benefitting the public." I believe that this request fits that category and therefore ask that you waive any fees.

If all or any part of this request is denied, please cite the specific exemption (s) that you think justifies your ref usal to release the information and inform me of the appeal procedures available to me under the law.
