(1) operational and linearity test and (2) HVAC (thermal drift) test.

SUMMARY

(1) Type of isolation module: X Analog, Digital E ('2) Part Number: 1622-4 Serial Number: 0003 The operational and linearity test is the functional test for the isolator modules. Prior to any qualification test sequence, this test is perfJrmed and establishes the baseline data. The operational test is repeated after each qualification test sequence.

The isolation module (x) passed, ( ) failed the baseline test.

PURPOSE

- The purpose of the operational and linearity test was to establish the baseline test data for the isolation module. This analog isolation module is designed for 0 to 5 VDC output with a 0 to 10 YDC input. -The linearity test was performed to cover the designed range of input signal.

3. Pretest Data All channels calibrated to within .001 volt of specified range of 0 to 5 volts out with 0 to 10 volts input.
4. Interim Test Data All channels output variance from tracking the input of 0 to 10 volts was j .002 volt or j .04% of output span.
5. Posttest Data Same as above.
6. Failed Components None.
7. Comments / Test Conclusion All channels passed the test with less than .1% variance of output span.

SUMMARY

(1) Type of isolation module: X Analog, Digital (2) Part Number: 1622-4 Serial Number: 0003 The isolation module was placed in a test chamber whose conditions were set to simulate the loss of HVAC conditions defined in the customer specifica-tion. Periodic functional tests were conducted at prescribed intervals.

The isolation module (X) passed, ( ) failed the HVAC test.

PURPOSE The purpose of the HVAC (thermal drift) test was to determine the effect of temperature elevation on the performance of the analog isolation module.

l The module was placed in an environmental chamber where the temperature was  !

raised to 46*F above ambient (74*F) for a minimum of 12 hours1.388889e-4 days <br />0.00333 hours <br />1.984127e-5 weeks <br />4.566e-6 months <br />. A func-tional test was periodically performed while the isolation module was in the chamber.

! Maximum thermal drift over a 12-hour period at 120*F was .018 volt.

This is .008% or 386 uv per *F drif t.

5. Posttest Data Posttest data taken at 71.0*F.

All channels returned to original calibration point within .003 volt of specified output range.

7. Comments / Test Conclusion All channels passed the test with < .01% of f.s. drift per *F change over the specified temperature change.
