Dear Mr. Nussbaumer:

Subj ect: Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant Fuel Allocation Supplementing my letter of December 9, 1965, to you on the above subject, I want to advise you that we are review-ing the Oyster Creek plant fuel enrichments with General Electric, and the two enrichments given in the tabulation attached to my letter of December 9 are now subject to minor change. In your I absence I discussed this over the telephone briefly with Mr. Doulos of your office on February 15 The enrichments may be changed from 2.32 percent and 1 33 percent to 2.25 percent and 1.65 percent. j In accordance with Mr. Doulos ' suggestion, I called Mr. Frank McAlduff at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, regarding the necessary lead time for firming up fuel enrichments before the fuel is withdrawn from the gaseous diffusion plant. Mr. McAlduff advised l

.me that as long as the quantities of fuel withdrawal had been scheduled, minor changes in enrichment could be made as late as one week prior to the withdrawal. I Since quantities shown in the tabulation attached to my letter of December 9 are firmed and since minor changes in enrichment can be made up until the time the material is withdrawn, Ib V

Mr. Donald Nussbaumer March 4, 1966 possibly you are not interested in these minor changes in en-richment. I would appreciate it if you would advise me if this is true or if we should keep you advised as to the final enrich-ments that will be used.

Very truly yours, D. R. Rees Nuclear Project Manager DRR:ep Copy to the General Electric Campany i
