Saxton Nuclear Experimental Corporation Operating License No. DPR-4 Docket No. 50-146 TSCR 57 Saxton Facility Work Scope Expansion Enclosed is SNEC Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No. 57. It is being submitted primarily to propose expansion of the permitted principal activities within the exclusion area beyond those allowed by the current Technical Specifications. Work scope expansion is necessary to support preparations for decommissioning the remainder of the facility. Two other changes involving administrative access controls and revision of the site diagram have also been proposed in the TSCR.

Also enclosed is the Certificate of Service for this request certifying service to the chief executives of Liberty Township and Bedford County, Pennsylvania, in which the facility is located, as well as the designated representative of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Bureau of Radiation Protection.

The safety evaluation and the determination of no significant hazards considerations for the proposed changes is enclosed.
