The plan was prepared in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 20.82(b) using the guidance presented in Draft -

i Regulatory Guide DG-1005.

We request that completion of the Decommissioning Plan review be such that it coincides with the scheduled start of decomissioning in early October 1996.

Toward that end, we will be available and responsive to any, concerns and/or requests identified during the review.

Submittal of the Decommissioning Plan will be followed shortly by the Environmental Report and the Decommissioning Technical Specifications.
