OF END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT MEETING FOR FORT CALHOUN STATION

Dear Mr. Ridenoure:

This refers to the end-of-cycle performance assessment meeting conducted at the Holiday Inn Express, Omaha, Nebraska, on April 20, 2004. The purpose of this meeting between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) was to present and discuss the NRC's assessment of performance of the Fort Calhoun Station for the period of January 1 through December 31, 2003. In addition, the meeting included a presentation on the NRC's oversight process.

The meeting attendance list and a copy of the slides presented during the meeting are included as Enclosures 1 and 2.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
