Dear Mr. Eisenhut:

The reference letter advised us that the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS) Units 1,253 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) and Environmental Report - Operating License Stage (ER-OL) have been accepted for docketing, but identified certain sections which were deemed to be incomplete.

We have reviewed such identified sections and, by Attachments 1 and 2, submit copies of revised and new FSAR and ER-OL pages which provide the omitted material for all but two sections of the FSAR (Sections 3.8.3.5 and 14.2.12) and two sections of the ER-OL (Sections 2.3 and 6.2).

Please note that we'ave committed to furnish the required information for FSAR Sections 3.8.3.5 and 14.2.12 on the specific dates indicated.

With respect to the ER-OL Sections 2.3 and 6.2, we have submitted infor-mation which demonstrates that such sections, as submitted, are complete and that no further action is required.

The. next amendment of the FSAR and supplement to the ER-OL will incorporate the revised and new pages contained in Attachments 1 and 2.
