PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION UNIT 2 Steam Generator Tube Plugging License No. NPF-51 Docket No. 50-529 Special Report 2-SR-90-002 This special report is provided pursuant to Palo Verde Unit 2 Technical Specifications 4.4.4.5(a) and 6.9.2 to report the number of steam generator tubes plugged as a resul't of inservice inspection activities.
On May 3, 1990, Unit 2 was in 'a refueling outage with the core off-';loaded'to. the Spent Fuel Pool'hen an ins'ervice inspe'ction of both steam generators was completed.
The inspection resulted in the plugging of twenty (20) tubes in Steam Generator, No. 1 and ninety-one (91) tubes in.Steam Generator No.
J 2.
IJ Pursuant to Technical Specification 4.4.4.5(b),
the complete results of the steam generator'tube inservice,inspectionwill be submitted by May 3, 1991.
