SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-528/99-05; 50-529/99-05; 50-530/99-05
Dear Mr. Levine:
This refers to the inspection conducted on March 22-26,1999, at the Palo Verde Nuclear
Generating Station, Units 1,2, and 3 facilities. The enclosed report presents the results of this
inspection.
During the inspection period, your conduct of security activities at the Palo Verde Nuclear
Generating Station was generally characterized by excellent management effectiveness, an
excellent security organization, and very effective training. We determined that your security
,
program was properly implemented.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Informs. tion as defined by 10 CFR 73.21
and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy
Act of 1954, as amended. Therefore, the material will ngt be placed in the Public Document
Room.
