Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS)

Units 1, 2, and 3 Unimplemented Unresolved Safety Issues File: 90-056-026 Arizona Public Service Company (APS) has reviewed Reference 2 concerning unimplemented unresolved safety issues (USIs) and concurs that USIs A-9 and A-44 have not been fully implemented at PVNGS. However, the implementation dates listed are inconsistent with the PVNGS forecast dates. This disparity may have occurred because the USI implementation dates provided to the staff by APS in Reference 1 were in terms of refueling outages without calendar dates.

The attachment to this letter reiterates our schedule for implementation of USIs A-9 and A-44 and provides the current forecast refueling dates.
