Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Report for 1987, Revision 1 File: 90-005-419.05; 90-A-056-026 The referenced letter forwarded the Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Report for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station covering the operations of Units 1 and 2 during 1987 and Unit 3 following initial criticality, on October 25, 1987.

By copy of this letter, we are forwarding a revised Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Report for 1987. The revision is a result of an internal review by the Nuclear Safety Group and an audit performed by Radiation Protection Standards. The review and audit identified redundancies in the report that resulted when Arizona State University (ASU) assumed responsibility for environmental analysis on July 1, 1987. The results were a compilation of two sets of data, one from ASU and one from the previous contractor. As a result, Revision 1 has been generated with the redundant data deleted, as represented by blank pages in the report. The situation has been corrected administratively by having ASU solely responsible for the program. Should you have any question or concerns, please call J. R.
