Dear Mr. Madsen:

On March 24, 1981 we verbally informed your Mr. R. G. Taylor that we were evaluating a condition involving the possible use of anchor bolts that were shorter than intended. This was identified as a potentially reportable deficiency within the definitions of 10 CFR 50.55(e).

The engineering evaluation as to the reportability of this item is still under investigation, with resolution expected no later than June 26, 1981.

Very truly yours, a
